Before Using for the First Time

  • Rinse the teapot thoroughly with warm water and dry the teapot inside and outside with a piece of dry cloth

Cleaning Instructions

  • To clean, rinse the teapot with warm water and wipe dry with a cloth. Invert the pot to air dry before replacing infuser and lid 
  • Do not use cleaners or detergents 
  • Do not scrub with abrasive pads
  • Do not expose the teapot to salt or oil or place in the refrigerator
  • Do not wash in a dishwasher
  • Do not use utensils that scratch the enameled surface on the inside

Usage Instructions

  • Do not use the teapot as a stove top kettle and do not use inside a microwave oven
  • Heat the water separately. Preheat the teapot by pouring some of the water into it
  • Place the loose tea into the removable infuser
  • Fill the teapot with water heated to the recommended temperature and let it steep as per instructions for the tea type
  • Pour the tea into teacups and enjoy
  • Do not leave the tea or water in the teapot for extended periods of time
  • Recommend usage with the trivet in order to avoid staining of tablecloth through rust.

How to Clean Rust from a Cast Iron Kettle

  1. Scrub rust spots away by hand with a wire brush.
  2. Soak any remaining rust spots in Coca-Cola until they're gone.
  3. Rinse your cast iron kettle clean with warm water.
  4. Wash the kettle clean with warm water.
  5. Wipe the kettle dry with a clean, absorbent cloth.
